1. Do I
need a partner?
Many of our
students take their lessons alone. Dancing personally with your teacher in your private lessons accelerates your
progress. Our students dance with each other during the groups and practice sessions, so it is not necessary to come with
a partner.
2. How
long will it take?
You will
begin dancing on your first lesson and will feel progress immediately. The length of the course you choose will depend on
how many dances you would like to learn and how proficient you would like to become. Introductory Programs can last
approximately 3 weeks with regular programs lasting 6 to 18 months.
3. How
often do I have to attend?
For maximum
benefit, we suggest 2 to 3 hours per week for beginners to develop strong understanding and comfort with the new material.
4. Who
are the Instructors?
Our
instructors are former and/or current competitive dancers who are highly skilled, trained and certified in teaching. They
were selected for their knowledge, experience, patience, caring, and ability to inspire, encourage and accomplish.
5. How
much will it cost?
The first
lesson is FREE. After your first lesson, your instructor will consult
with you to determine which of our programs is best for you. We offer competitive prices and guaranteed results.
6. What
dances will I learn?
The dance(s)
you learn will depend on your reasons for taking lessons. You have your choice of any or all of the following dances: Cha
Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Swing, Merengue, Salsa, Mambo, Bolero, Bachata, Paso Doble, Hustle, Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot,
Quickstep and Viennese Waltz.
7. What
should I wear?
Comfortable
dressy casual attire is recommended. Jeans, T-shirts, sweats and running shoes are not encouraged. Footwear should be
dress shoes that have leather or synthetic leather soles. Shoes must be flexible and fit securely. Sandals and slip ons
are not advised. Please bring a change of shoes, as street shoes are
not allowed on the floor.
8. When
can I have my first lesson?
Your
complimentary lesson can be scheduled between the hours of 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday. We do require 3 to 4
days notice to book appointments.
