L'ambiance
Dance Centre was founded on the basis that everyone can
learn to dance and benefit greatly from the Physical,
Mental, Emotional and Social enhancements this activity
offers. In today's fast paced world, dancing
allows for stress relief, muscle toning, strength and
flexibility, ease and confidence socially, as well as a
method of meeting and making new friends.
Mr.
Wahab, our director, has carefully selected a professional team of dancers/teachers renowned for superior talent,
dedication and commitment to excellence. Rest assured, the teachers chosen for you are the best in the business.
The
teachers of L'ambiance Dance Centre are fully certified in both International Style Standard and Latin as well as American
style (social) Smooth and Rhythm. With many years of competitive and social dance experience, our teachers are capable of
teaching anyone, at any level, to dance for all occasions. Our teachers are dynamic, outgoing, knowledgeable, competent,
attentive, patient and caring.

Mr. Al Wahab is recognized for his unique teaching
ability, creativity and high level of professionalism. He is a Master
Examiner and an Adjudicator with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA), Certified by the World Professional
Dance Teachers Association(WPDTA) and a member of the Canadian Dancesport Federation(CDF), BDFI and ODDSO.
A former professional competitor and
Provincial Champion, Mr. Wahab is also the winner of numerous Top Teacher and Top Executive Awards.
As a Teacher, he uses
his background and interest in science, physiology and psychology as well as his ever developing creativity to make
learning easier and with greater understanding.
Having trained hundreds of students as well as teachers, he will
personally ensure you are receiving excellent quality dance instructions.(Seen in movie: Take the Lead)
BALLROOM & LATIN - INTERNATIONAL & AMERICAN
 Miss
Carla is a
wonderful instructor who has dedicated her entire
professional life to the study of dance.
Her major
focus has always been Ballroom and
Latin dance, but she has aditionally
studied Ballet, Jazz and Modern Dance,
for personal interest as well as to
supplement to her primary training.
Miss Carla has studied Commedia
del'Arte, Mime, Movement, Clown,
Improvisation and has earned a degree
in Physical Theatre.
Carla has also been an accomplished
Figure Skater. Her qualifications
include the Gold Test Standard, Free
Skate and Figures. As a
professional coach, she was an NCCP
certified Level Three Coach and
trained skaters at a National
Competitive Level, as well as skaters
at a test and recreational level.
She earned a Diploma in Coaching
Techniques in Figure Skating and has
enjoyed her strength as a
choreographer.
Miss Carla has choreographed
beautiful, artistic programs for
Figure Skaters and Dancers for shows
and competitions, and has created
inspired movement movement pieces for
actors, singers and other stage and
theatre performances.
Miss Carla is also a beautiful
performer who has entertained
audiences at Ice Shows, Dance
Competitions and Theatrical Events.
Professional adjudicators have
described Carla as a gifted and
talented instructor. She has
been winning awards as an instructor,
dancer and choreographer, continuously
throughout her career. She
remains dedicated to further
developing her talents and abilities
and is a true inspiration to her
students. Miss
Carla has also earned a B.L.A.
She continues her studies in Esoteric
Psychology, and is engaged in a
life-long apprenticeship in Shamanism.
Miss Carla loves Dance and teaching,
but her true love remains her Son and,
eternally, the Great Spirit.

Mr
Valentin
has a passionate and enduring love of dance.
As a competitor
he has participated in many dance competition events around the world and is
happy to
pass on the knowledge that he has acquired from
numerous years of training with some of the top teachers in the world.
Valentin is patient,
conscientious and sincere. His students truly enjoy
their lessons with him and appreciate his dedication and enthusiasm.
BELLY DANCE
Miss Irina
discovered the power and beauty of
belly dance in 2002 during her travels
to Mexico.
She
studied this art intensely at
Arabesque Academy, enriching her
learning even more by apprenticing
with Arabesque Dance Company in 2006
and again in 2011.
Throughout the years, she studied with
some of the most talented bellydance
artists in the world such as, Tito,
Aida Nour, Randa Kamal, Yasmina Ramzy,
Sahra Saiida, Bozenka & Ferda Bayazit.
Since
2006, Irina has been teaching and
performing belly dance professionally,
dancing full time in prestigious
restaurants and banquet halls in and
around Toronto.
Aside
from performing at numerous weddings,
parties, corporate & cultural events,
she has been a regular teacher at
dance studios and fitness clubs and
performed at many retirement
facilities around Toronto.
Inspired towards bellydance by her
travels, she took her dancing to Costa
Rica in 2010, where she taught and
performed for audiences from around
the world for almost a year.
Irina
is a very passionate teacher and
performer of such a broad and ancient
subject as belly dance; its long
history, its cultural significance and
its impact on women and the world
today.
